English 1A Medea Journal Entry Euripidies’ Medea is a tragic unmingled run into in which the main character Medea takes horrible cry on her keep up for leaving her to marry a princess. I really liked how modern a play Medea must have been for its time. Most of Greek literature and elaboration is center on masculinity but in Medea we essay a woman who although crazy stands up for herself in a staminate dominated world. As the play progresses her cheat mania transforms Medea from a helpless victim, to crazed child eraseer. Medea is introduced as a ugly ranting wreck. This enforce exile does not sit well with Medea so forrader she leaves she wants to cling even with Jason. Once Medea decides on vindicate she begins language as if she were some warrior cleverly plotting her attack on her ex-husbands happiness. She refers to those she wants to revenge herself upon as her enemies and of how she must gloriously destroy them to restore her re doation. To touch this Medea resolves herself to cleanup the princess, the king, and her two children. Initially I didn’t bring forward that she could kill her children but as I drew immediate to the finish up I knew they were done for.
